Gramians are terms related to linear Algebra. Empirical gramians are matrices that can be used to calculate attributes of linear and nonlinear control systems.
These control system can be used either for model order reduction (MOR), system identification (SYSID) or uncertainty quantification (UQ).
emgr, also known as the Empirical Gramian Framework, can be used in computing six types of empirical gramians:
- Controllability gramian
- Observability gramian
- Cross gramian
- Sensitivity gramian
- Identifiability gramian
- Joint gramian
Details about their usage, parameters, options and some examples are included with the emgr package and also available on its homepage.
